Forgive me for not making the journal about the trip. I had to focus on my college class first, now it's almost friday, I think it's the perfect time to explain it.
I went to get the ticket of seeing this group called the Vamps. Since I wanted to put new songs on my iPhone, I decided to give the Vamps a chance. After that, I went to the Exhibit hall, and finally, after waiting for a year, I finally got Panty and Stocking with Gartelbelt, on Blu-Ray no less!!! X3 Then I went to the Art Alley because ~ThatlooserLulu
was having a booth, selling her art with her friends, and I bought this Fan-art from her. And I went to go around for a bit, and decided to buy another fan-art, this time it's Italy from Hetalia. And then my brother told me where the Ecchi panel is, since I said I wanted to go there, and after waiting for years, now that I'm 18 and entered there, I was completely satisfied, even though some of the sex-scenes were censored, I did manage to find one that's uncensored, and it left me happy. After that, I went further to the right, just to see if anything is interesting over there, and there was. At the Bang! Zoom! Entertainment booth were opening a voice acting audition, allowing fans to have the opportunity of becoming a voice actor, I signed up, hoping to get the part. Then, I found a dance room called the AX Dance. Since I wanted to open up a bit(because I was lonely), I joined in the AX dance, and I was having fun, dancing with other people. Since it was the holidays at the time, my brother and I stayed there all night, til around 10:00 pm, because we might have spend money on a taxi if we stayed in too long. By the time we returned, we were pooped out and we stank, so we had to take a bath after we come back home, which we kept doing that for the rest of four days.
I left early in order to audition, but I had to wait in line to get the part, but I missed it, because I was hungry at the time. Luckily they give another chance for the next day. While I was waiting for my turn, I found a booth where they cheap manga for just $5 each, and I found the manga that I wanted to buy; Seven Billion Needles, sadly I only bought two volumes, because 3 and 4 weren't there, maybe I get them next year. So I went back to the Funimation booth, and got Black Lagoon on a DVD and Blu-ray bow set, which is good, because I need to know the anime in order to cosplay as the sexy bitch Revy for next year. I saw my old school mate, three times that day, one of them was when I waiting in line for the Eric Vale panel, and yes, I manage to get in seeing Eric Vale, unlike my brother, who didn't make it to see Johnny Young Bosch, and The Blue Exorcist movie. My mom came in this time. Later that night, I wanted to get in AX dance, but MAN, was the line very long. I didn't stay in that long like my first night, because I didn't want to my family to stay in all night for me.
I came in extra early to have another of audition, and I flirt with one of the guys, by saying that he was kinda cute. However, we were both too shy to talk to each other, and I never saw him again. Bummer. And again, I missed my chance of audition because of lunch, but they were having the final audition later that day. They were giving us raffle tickets, and I was one of the winners, and my prize was two tickets to see the JAM project, which I didn't see the whole thing though, because I wanted to have the final chance of audition. I did, I was actually last one to audition as well. The said that only one will get the part. After the Audition was over, I decided to buy a new messenger bag, at first it was hard to pick either a Sonic bag, or the Hetalia bag, but I decided to go for the humble one, and it's the Sonic bag. And the end of the Exhibit hall hour, I went to the Crunchy Roll booth, because they were talking about Attack on Titan, plus they were playing the opening. I only stayed there to see if they'll play the full version of it, because they already showed the music video of it in Japan, but boy was I wrong, what a waste of time that was.
This is where I'm almost out of money, but my mom was kind enough to give me $40 extra to buy me some lunch, other merchandise under that budget. I bought Casshern Sins on Blu-Ray, because my brother wanted to buy the game and Blu-Ray so bad. Because I still have a bit of cash of it left, I decided to finally buy the cute fan-art of Hatsune Miku and Shion Kaito, it was a bargain, $12 on a day before, then $10. I was even lucky enough to buy a Digimon fan-art(because Digimon is back bitches), since it was $5. As usual, it ended early, and decided to the room for the AMV contest, it was good. After that, I finally went to the Vamp concert to hear their music for the first, and despite showing it in movie theaters, the fans in the theater would not stop cheering at them. Me, I like their music, they were catchy, but some reason, with all the flashing lights, loud noises from the music, audience, and fans cheering for them, I almost went on a snooze fest on their last two songs. However, even after the LA convention center was closed, and fans were still outside hanging out, role-playing, taking pics, etc. I had to go to home early, because my throat was getting sore.
So there you go, my trip to Anime Expo, even though I got I lot of stuff that I want, there's still some thing that I still don't have, because either A. I couldn't afford them, or B. They'll come out in the Fall, which means I have to wait for next year. Oh well, at least I have fun guys.
